Mental and Emotional Wellbeing

“Helping you to reach a state of health where you are free from limitations and able to go out and achieve your life purpose.”
- Michelle Hookham

It helps to talk

We can all experience feelings of distress at times. Often this can resolve by tapping into our own coping strategies and individual support systems. At other times, we just need to talk to someone who can help us connect with the underlying cause of what is wrong and find a way back to our own sense of balance.

Michelle is a Credentialed mental health nurse and has 25 years’ experience working in mental health services. She brings a diverse range of therapeutic skills to every consultation and has a strong reputation for supporting young people and adults in crisis.

Mental health consultations are one hour and usually 1 – 2 weekly initially and then as needed.

Become well, stay well

Michelle applies her diverse range of skills and adapts these intuitively to meet your needs in each session. It is Michelle’s experience that when people invest in their healthcare, work through challenges, get support as needed, learn how to detect early warning signs of relapse and apply interventions, mental/emotional health can flourish. People can become well and stay well and the need for hospital admissions and medication can significantly decrease.
